Bucyrus Police reports-July 11

Monday, July 10, 2017
3:37 a.m.- A report of a drunk male in the 100 block of Wiley Street was unfounded.
6:22 a.m.- Officers picked up a bike that had been abandoned in the 100 block of East Charles Street.
8:09 a.m.- A report of a drunk male in the 500 block of South Sandusky Avenue was unfounded.
10:26 a.m.- A private property accident report was taken in the 200 block of East Mary Street.
11:57 a.m.- A report of kids on a roof in the 600 block of East Rensselaer Street was
investigated.  The kids were not on the roof upon officer’s arrival, but their caregiver was
advised of the complaint.
12:25 p.m.- A male was warned against walking in the middle of the road on Hopley Avenue.
12:29 p.m.- A domestic dispute in the 100 block of Gaius Street was investigated.
12:56 p.m.- Officers investigated a dog bite complaint at Bucyrus Community Hospital.
2:05 p.m.- An accident report was taken at Plymouth and Lane Streets.
2:25 p.m.- A resident came to the station to speak with an officer regarding threats received.
3:17 p.m.- Officers checked the welfare of a resident in the 300 block of West Beal Avenue.
3:48 p.m.- A parking complaint in the 100 block of East Kilbourne Avenue was investigated.
4:20 p.m.- A domestic disturbance in the 100 block of Gaius Street was investigated.
4:46 p.m.-A traffic complaint of a dump truck losing sand as it headed out of town was
investigated.  The vehicle was stopped by a deputy in the county and the city street department
was contacted to sweep up the debris.
6:43 p.m.- A report of a juvenile harassing a younger juvenile in the area of Charles and Spring
Streets was investigated.
6:58 p.m.- A private property accident in the Baker’s Pizza parking lot was investigated.
7:01 p.m.- A motorist parked in the 600 block of East Rensselaer Street reported someone she
knows stole items out of her vehicle and let the air out of her tires.
7:19 p.m.- A 9-1-1 hang up call from the 100 block of North Spring Street was investigated. It
was an accidental dial and there was no emergency.
7:25 p.m.- Officers attempted contact with a resident in the 300 block of Blicke Street for the
Galion Police Department. It did not appear to be a good address.
7:52 p.m.- A parking complaint in the 300 block of Nora Street was investigated.
7:56 p.m.- A report of a suspicious female in the 600 block of South Sandusky Avenue was investigated.
9:26 p.m.- A resident in the 900 block of Elm Street reported a television stolen from his residence.
11:35 p.m.- A 9-1-1 open line was investigated in the 500 block of North Lane Street.  No one
was located needing assistance in the area.
Tuesday, July 11, 2017
12:21 a.m.- A false alarm at Bucyrus Historical Society was investigated.
12:26 a.m.- A false alarm at Bucyrus Secondary School was investigated.
12:56 a.m.- A report of two people trying to start a fight in the 100 block of West Mansfield
Street was investigated. The people had left the area before officers arrived.
2:54 a.m.- Officers investigated a disturbance in the area of Bucyrus Plaza.
