Bucyrus Police-July 28

7:45 a.m.- Officers secured a residence in the Earl and Plymouth Street area.
11:20 a.m.- Officers checked on a vehicle that reportedly had no tags. The vehicle was a salvage
vehicle headed to the BMV.
11:46 a.m.- Officers reunited a 6-year-old with her grandmother in the 100 block of Bruce Avenue.
1:01 p.m.- Officers responded to a report of possible drug paraphernalia found on Arrowhead Drive.
1:23 p.m.- A Whetstone St resident spoke with an officer regarding slander issues.
4:19 p.m.- A report of an erratic driver coming into town on State Route 4 was investigated.
4:50 p.m.- A verbal traffic warning was issued in the 1500 block of West Southern Avenue.
5:17 p.m.- A resident in the 600 block of East Oakwood Avenue reported her child assaulted by
another neighborhood child.
5:22 p.m.- Officers assisted a Bucyrus resident retrieve her grandson from a residence at Bucyrus
Plaza after being granted emergency custody through the courts.
6:20 p.m.-Officers attempted to serve a warrant on East Rensselaer Street.
6:35 p.m.- Officers attempted to serve a warrant on Lawn Avenue.
6:48 p.m.- A resident in the 400 block of East Rensselaer Street reported damage to his back door.
7:00 p.m.- Officers assisted a bicyclist who was injured in the area of Warren and Lane Streets.
7:30 p.m.- A disturbance in the 900 block of East Warren Street was investigated.
7:36 p.m.- A minor two-vehicle accident in the area of Auto and Wayne Avenues was investigated.
7:41 p.m.- A juvenile who had reported his bicycle stolen last year from Kroger came to the station to
pick it up from the bicycle storage lot.
8:27 p.m.- Officers blocked traffic around a manhole cover wedged on its side while the city crew
attempted to get it unstuck.
9:35 p.m.- A written warning for junk vehicles was issued in the 500 block of Jones Street.
9:37 p.m.-A resident in the 500 block of Myers Street reported her tree spray painted.  When officers
checked, they advised there was no spray paint, just a mold growing on the tree.
10:08 p.m.-Officers checked on a female walking in the 600 block of Tiffin Street.
10:18 p.m.-Dean Deluca, 42, and Beverly Deluca, 25, were arrested on warrants out of Crawford
County. They were both issued dates to appear in court and released.
11:29 p.m.-Officers responded to an accident at Southern and South Sandusky Avenues.
1:26 a.m.-Officers assisted EMS in the 900 block of Prospect Street.
5:50 a.m.-A Waterford Glen resident reported a bicycle stolen.
6:11 a.m.-An East Lucas Street resident reported her home entered and her purse stolen.
