National Night Out is happening tomorrow!!!!

National Night Out is happening tomorrow evening throughout Crawford County. The photo above features my grandchildren during last year's event.

The first National Night Out took place Aug. 7, 1984, with 2.5 million Americans participating in 400 communities across the country.
According to the National Night Out website, the annual event now involves 37.8 million people and 16,124 communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories, Canadian cities and military bases worldwide.
Local safety forces will make their way around the area to visit with area residents and talk with youth attending the parties.
Bucyrus Police Chief Dave Koepke has said that the event is a great way for neighbors to get to know each other and look out for each other’s property throughout the year.
