Bucyrus Police Reports-May 16 and 17

May 15
9:20 a.m.- Officers investigated a report of stolen medication in the 800 block of West Perry Street.
11:01 a.m.- Officers investigated a report of shoplifting from Dollar General on Marion Road.
12:28 p.m.- Officers investigated a report of two males abusing a cat in the 200 block of West Mansfield Street.
12:47 p.m.- A report of a civil dispute in the 500 block of South Poplar Street was received.
2:08 p.m.-   Officers investigated a report of a possible suicidal male in the 600 block of Hopley Avenue.  The male was not located.
3:42 p.m.- Officers attempted to serve a warrant on West Mansfield Street.
4:16 p.m.- A Bucyrus resident came to the police department to report damage to her vehicle windshield.
4:21 p.m.- A resident in the 300 block of West Mansfield Street reported items missing after being evicted from a residence.
4:50 p.m.- Officers attempted to deliver a jail release notification on McKinley Avenue.
4:54 p.m.- Officers responded to a domestic dispute over a set of keys in the 300 block of West Galen Street. Aaron Zornes, 28, was arrested on two Crawford County warrants.  He was issued a date to appear in court and released.
5:18 p.m.- An individual lodged a fraud complaint against someone known to them and Daniel Murrell, 36, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant.  He was issued a date to appear in court and released.
7:20 p.m.- A 14-year-old was arrested for underage consumption of alcohol in the 100 block of North Spring Street. He was released to his mother and will be contacted by Juvenile Court with a date for a court appearance.
8:24 p.m.- A domestic disturbance in the 300 block of East Rensselaer Street was mediated.
8:55 p.m.- The 14-year-old male from a prior arrest was arrested again for underage consumption and resisting arrest in the 200 block of North Poplar Street. He was taken to the Marion County Juvenile Detention Center to await an appearance in Juvenile Court.
9:42 p.m.- A New Washington resident reported losing his wallet while at Walmart this evening.
May 16
1:04 a.m.- A report of a suspicious male at the Bucyrus Community Hospital ER was investigated.
1:29 a.m.- A report of a male trespassing around vehicles in the parking lot at Taco Bell was investigated. The individual was described as 5’7” tall with blond hair, wearing a black shirt and jeans and he fled north on foot.
3:09 a.m.- A report of a suspicious noise in the 900 block of South Walnut Street was debris in the street.
5:39 a.m.- Officers mediated a domestic issue in the 800 block of Wilbur Street.
6:45 a.m.- Officers investigated a report of a vehicle trespass and larceny of $25 in the 500 block of Howard Avenue.
7:49 a.m.- Officers assisted Life Support Team Ambulance in the 900 block of East Warren Street.
9:43 a.m.- A report of a theft at Walmart was investigated.
10:05 a.m.- A resident reported a vehicle break-in in the 200 block of Songer Street.
11:00 a.m.- A report of stolen cash from a resident on Wedgewood Court was investigated.
11:16 a.m.- A resident in the 300 block of Blicke Street reported a watch stolen from her vehicle.
11:43 a.m.- A resident at Bucyrus Plaza reported being assaulted.  Officers are investigating.
2:03 p.m.-   Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 600 block of West Beal Avenue.
2:57 p.m.-   Tiffany Stoneburner, 32, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant.  She was issued a date to appear in court and released.
3:05 p.m.- Warnings were issued to two solicitors without permits in the 300 block of East Rensselaer Street.
3:21 p.m.- An employee of City Hall reported a bad check written to the city.
3:23 p.m.- A resident in the 500 block of South Poplar Street reported a dog shot by a BB sometime last night.
3:54 p.m.- A two-vehicle non-injury crash in the area of Charles and Walnut Streets was investigated. A citation was issued for failure to yield and one of the vehicles was disabled and towed.
4:51 p.m.- A report of dogs left without food or water was investigated in the 400 block of North Walnut Street. The dogs were fine and had access to water.
4:59 p.m.- A report of mini bikes on the roadway in the area of Emerson Street and Dunn Avenue was investigated.
7:20 p.m.- A mother came to the police department to speak to an officer about inappropriate messages to her child. 
7:30 p.m.- Officers checked the 900 block of Faustina Avenue regarding a hang up 9-1-1 call.  No one was located in the area needing assistance.
7:43 p.m.- Officers retrieved and disposed of a syringe found in an alleyway behind the 400 block of West Warren Street.
7:53 p.m.- A resident at Pinewood Apartments reported being followed and harassed by someone she knows.
8:24 p.m.- A disturbance in the 1000 block of Woodlawn Avenue was a verbal dispute.
8:41 p.m.- A 9-1-1 hang up call from the 900 block of Prospect Street was investigated.
9:33 p.m.- A disturbance in the area of Spring and Mansfield Street was investigated.
9:36 p.m.- A report of three people on bikes trying to get into vehicles in the area of Warren and Poplar Streets was investigated.
11:30 p.m.- A report of a female breaking a car window in the South East Street area was investigated. The people had left the area prior to officers’ arrival. Ayla Sturgill, 21, was arrested on a warrant out of the Mansfield Police Department. She was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for pick up.
11:34 p.m.- Officers investigated a hang up 9-1-1 call in the 900 block of Prospect Street.
May 17
12:32 a.m.- A report of people slamming doors in the 800 block of Elm Street was a verbal domestic dispute.
2:22 a.m.-  A resident in the 1000 block of East Beal Avenue reported someone knocking on their door. Officers checked the area and did not locate anyone.
4:53 a.m.- A resident in the 800 block of Beverly Drive reported hearing noises. Officers checked the area and found everything to be all right.
